Walking Tours
The Atlanta Preservation Society (tel: (404) 876 2041; fax: (404) 876 2618) offers guided walking tours through the historic and architecturally interesting older districts. The guides are volunteers and often speak knowledgeably about their own districts. Options include: Ansley Park, Sweet Auburn/Martin Luther King, Jr District, historic Downtown, Fox Theatre, Walking Miss Daisy’s Druid Hills, Inman Park, Birth of Atlanta and Underground, West End/Hammonds House and Wren’s Nest, Piedmont Park, Atlanta University Center and Historic Midtown.

Bus Tours
American Sightseeing Atlanta (tel: (404) 233 9140 or (800) 572 3050; website: www.americansightseeingatl.com) has several different half-day sightseeing tours by minibus of the city centre, as well as tours to Stone Mountain. Half-day tours range in price from US$27-40, including hotel pick-up.
