Accommodation

HOTELS: There are excellent hotels and resorts on the island with good facilities for the holidaymaker, particularly in the provision of watersports equipment etc. Advance booking is essential. GUEST-HOUSES: The visitor can opt for accommodation in beach villas, or private apartments. Various property companies can be contacted – details are available from BONHATA (see address above).

Note: Rates for accommodation will be approximately 20-40 per cent cheaper in the off-peak season (15 April-15 December). A room tax of around US$5.50-6.50 per person per night is added to the bill. An additional service charge of ten to 15 per cent may also be levied.
