HOTELS: There are hotels and lodges (which are similar to guest-houses and provide bed and breakfast). A list of registered hotels is available from the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (see Contact Addresses section). Non-residents must pay hotel bills in foreign currency (usually US$) or by credit card. Local currency is not acceptable even on presentation of exchange certificates. Grading: All hotels are graded on a 5-star system, with those classified 1-star or above being registered with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority. Over 70 hotels are registered. CAMPING/CARAVANNING: Most centres and tourist areas have caravan parks and campsites.
